These responsibilities constitute the core of the APEX MECHANICAL ENGINEERING Company HSSE corporate plan. Their main responsibility is to save guard and maintain the essence of the HSSE policy, its value and its projection towards the achievement of the zero incident targets.
Following is the responsibility of all the senior and junior management lines in addition to the HSSE Advisors and supervisors.
Managing Partner
Formulation of HSSE policy, objectives, rules and guide lines related to HSSE.
Ensure of proper allocation of resources towards HSSE MS implementation.
Ensures HSSE trained staff is deployed at site to carry out the jobs.
Attends HSSE meetings every six months
Encourage HSSE related improvement at all levels.
Stops any activity that does not conform to the HSSE manual requirements.
Contracts & HSE Manager
Reviews the HSSE plan and submits for Client approval.
Issues the approved plan for implementation.
Authorizes the start of the works after all HSSE controls are put in place.
Monitors the HSSE performance of the contract
Regularly visits sites and attends relevant HSSE meetings.
Stops any activity that does not conform to the HSE manual requirements.
HSE Advisor
Prepares the HSSE plan.
Implements the training program.
Supervises the preparation of reports / statistics.
Circulates HSSE mail
Attends HSSE meetings with Client and staff.
Conducts inspection and audits of work sites to eliminate potential hazards and unsafe behavior.
Checks records for journey plans for effective implementation of journey management system.
Ensure PTW requirements.
Attends any relevant HSSE meetings with SOMC
Prepares the monthly HSSE area statistics
Stops any activity that does not conform to the HSSE manual requirements
Projects & Maintenance Engineer
Understands and implements the HSSE plan
Attends any relevant HSSE meetings with SOMC
Reports accidents, incidents and near misses
Ensures Tool box meetings are carried out.
Stops any activity that does not conform to the HSSE manual requirements.
Maintenance Supervisor
Daily tour to ensure application of HSSE plan in camps and work sites
Monitors journey plans within the work area
Ensures that the work force use personal protective equipment on work sites
Ensure that work sites are kept safe and clean
Participates within incident / accident investigations.
Stops any activity that does not conform to the HSSE manual requirements.
Site Supervisor
Conduct daily tool box talk
Ensures the availability of PPE
Reports accidents, incidents and near misses immediately to project manager and HSE advisor
Attends weekly meeting with HSSE advisor
Ensures proper housekeeping on site
Maintain proper tool box talk records and training records
Ensures the implementation of the HSSE procedures.
Monitors permits to work
Stops any activity that does not conform to the HSE manual requirements.
QUALITY CONTROL
All the activities within the company have a scope of the quality control in workshop, in stores, during the installation on sites and services of the equipments in the petrol stations.
The activities are according to the prescriptions of ISO 9002:1994 not only for services and installation but also for the organization – Development of the company and Personnel Evaluation and Training.
